Unseentra offers unique bucket-list travel experiences and activities, catering to individual and corporate clients from all over the world. With a focus on providing a seamless user experience and user interface, Unseentra aimed to create a website that is both visually appealing and user-friendly, ensuring that it is easily accessible and navigable for both local and international tourists.
Unseentra began to attract a wide range of customers, allowing them to explore various places and activities throughout Cambodia. While researching and developing a fresh concept and solution for Unseentra's website, I encountered some challenges that made it difficult to decide on the UI and UX aspects.
The first aspect is crafting the user experience to ensure that the website is accessible to both local people and international tourists, regardless of whether they are using a small or large screen size. This requires a responsive web design that adapts seamlessly to different devices, making it easy for users to navigate and interact with the website from any device they prefer.
As I mentioned earlier, Unseentra's users are not only local people but also international tourists. This poses a challenge when it comes to designing the user experience and determining which features or information are necessary to avoid confusion during their trips.
User experience is great! However, a product or website's functionality alone is not enough. It needs to be aesthetically pleasing as well. I strive to find a balance between user interface trends that can be used by both local and international users, avoiding confusion when they want to book a ticket or find necessary information.
The challenges in the design process cannot be avoided. Therefore, to address all those problems, I applied some problem-solving techniques and UX design frameworks to enhance Unseentra's website successfully, focusing on accessibility, usability, and findability.
During the design process, I conduct interviews and strive to gain insights from users, which enables me to craft an effective information architecture for the entire website. Additionally, I consider the features that exist in both the desktop and mobile versions.
Wireframing the website for both desktop and mobile views. Then creating a prototype for Unseentra's team and their users to test its functionality, ensuring the flow and functionality work well and align with the company's goals.
After completing the wireframe, it's time to apply color, images, content, and all other elements to the UI by carefully following the brand guidelines to ensure that the design and identity are aligned. Next, I create another prototype that users can test, which is clickable. If there are any issues, I refine it based on feedback before handing it over to the developers. This process is an iterative one.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Unseentra team for providing me with valuable insights, including user feedback documentation and a clear understanding of the company's goals, which enabled me to create this fantastic responsive website.
